At the Pikol cuisine, under the leadership of the Gašparin family, each dish is born from a careful respect for the ingredients chosen by our unique team. It's not just food preparation; it's about the selection, knowledge of ingredients, and careful preparation to ensure that the original flavors remain unchanged in their beauty and harmony. Each dish is like a work of art, served in a way that allows the guest to see and feel the loving hand that has prepared this culinary delight.

Despite being aware of our Brda roots and origin, we don't confine ourselves to narrow confines of Goriška Brda and Vipava Valley. Our kitchen is open to all world influences. With our dishes, we travel through time and space: from memories of guests' childhoods to the diverse tastes and smells we discover in vast culinary lands.

Tasting Menu

Experience an exquisite culinary journey at our property, located by a serene natural lake amidst lush greenery, offering a stunning view of the water.

Our menu draws inspiration from our native Brda region, where mountains blend into hills dotted with vineyards. This area offers a rich variety of ingredients. Enjoy our signature dish, sea bass carpaccio, prepared in our distinctive Pikol style, and indulge in rich, creamy, freshly made butter from homemade sour cream.

Savor wild herbs picked from our estate just before serving, and relish freshly caught trout from the pristine waters of the Soča River.

Experience the authentic flavors of Brda and its surroundings with our carefully prepared 4 or 7-course menus.

4-Course Menu

Our 7-course tasting menu is inspired by the rich terroir of the Brda and Vipava regions. This culinary journey celebrates the uniqueness of our estate’s environment, drawing inspiration from ever-changing micro-seasonal periods.

Our family's vision is to highlight the natural complexity of each ingredient with minimal intervention. Our menu weaves an enchanting narrative of nature's harmony, showcasing the best local and surrounding ingredients, cherished traditions, and the essence of our family's heritage. Pair selected wines from our cellar with the creative dishes of our family chef. The wines are served in sequence with the dishes, accompanied by detailed descriptions of the wines and their production.
